Len has been a Paramedic/Lieutenant with the Toledo Fire and Rescue Department for 25+ years. He grew up in the Massillon/Canton area in Ohio and went to college at Ohio Wesleyan University. His wife Dee, a United Methodist minister, currently serves as Chaplain at the University of Toledo. Mr. and Mrs. Baker have two children. Their daughter is an Occupational Therapist and their son a high school English teacher. “Our family is faith-based with a strong commitment to be in service to others. MM is a perfect match for me: my love of nature and the wonderful outdoors, combined with a passion for working with young people, equate to an awesome experience year after year. I am thankful for everyone involved in this special ministry”. Mr. Baker’s favorite hobbies are running, reading, and anything to do with water. “And yes, I do enjoy challenging hikes.”
